TOEFL-iBT

The TOEFL-iBT (Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a widely recognized English language proficiency test used by universities, employers, and other organizations to evaluate the language skills of non-native English speakers. It is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).

The iBT consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. The Reading section measures your ability to understand academic texts, the Listening section measures your ability to understand spoken English, the Speaking section measures your ability to speak English fluently and coherently, and the Writing section measures your ability to write clear and coherent English. The total testing time for the iBT is about four hours.

The TOEFL-iBT is scored on a scale of 0 to 120 points, with each section (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing) receiving a separate score. The scores for each section are combined to create an overall score. The minimum score required for most universities and programs is around 80-100 points, but the exact score requirements may vary depending on the institution or program.
